COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
DIPL 7111, 7112 Internship
Provides students with an opportunity to develop skills through experiential learning in an institutional environment under the supervision
of a faculty mentor. Typical placements are in intergovernmental or non-governmental organizations, governmental agencies or
businesses involved in international matters. Students participate in an orientation at the beginning of the course and make a final
presentation. Prerequisite: completion of at least 24 credits within the School of Diplomacy and International Relations.

DIPL 7113 U.S. Foreign Service
Intensive preparation and individualized review for entry to the U.S. Foreign Service.

DIPL 7411-7413 Journal Editorial Board
Students serve on the editorial board of the Whitehead Journal of Diplomacy and International Relations with the option to earn credit
for this work.
