EUROPEAN UNION AND CYPRUS SEMINAR

During this intensive ten-day tour to Cyprus, students study Cyprus’ accession to the European Union and the Cyprus conflict. Students are received by the President of Cyprus, the President of the Cyprus Parliament, former presidents, the UN Envoy, EU Delegate and attend panel discussions comprised of both Greek and Turkish Cypriots. Participants witness the Cyprus conflict first-hand and tour the Green Line which divides the island and is maintained by UN Peacekeepers.

The European Union and Cyprus Seminar is a 3-credit  course open to both graduate and undergraduate students.
