EUROPEAN UNION SEMINAR
The intensive study tour of the institutions of the European Union takes place each year in early June. This
ten-day tour
brings students in direct contact with the leaders and diplomats
of key EU institutions.
Students explore the dynamics of current EU issues while
experiencing the vibrant cultures of Belgium, Luxembourg, France,
and the Netherlands. The itinerary includes visits with the European Court of Justice, the European Court of
Auditors, NATO, the Council of the European Union, the President
of the European Investment Bank, the Council of Europe, a judge
from the European Court of Human Rights, the
European Commission, the European Parliament, the
International Court of Justice and the International
Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. The European Union Seminar is a 3-credit course open to both graduate and
undergraduate students.
