Profile
Ursula Sanjamino joined the Whitehead School of Diplomacy in 2001. Prior to her appointment in 2004 as Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies, she served the School as Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Students, and put in place the School’s Office of Internships and Career Development as its first Assistant Dean.

Dean Sanjamino leads the School's administrative initiatives for its graduate programs, from recruitment to enrollment and orientation through graduation. She advises students providing guidance and information on curriculum, academic policy, national fellowships, scholarships, and study abroad opportunities. As the School's advocate, Dean Sanjamino works closely with students to help develop their potential for leadership and involvement in global issues beyond the classroom. Her office collaborates with student organizations on a variety of initiatives that include mentoring and service projects, and global awareness campaigns.

Dean Sanjamino holds a M.A. in Counseling from Kean University, New Jersey and a B.A. in English and Government and Politics from St. John's University, New York.
