FACULTY LUNCH SEMINAR SERIES
The Faculty Lunch Seminar Series brings graduate
students and faculty together informally to discuss
ongoing research being conducted by faculty of the
Whitehead School. Launched in 2004 by Dr. Omer
Gokcekus, these seminars take place monthly.
Among past seminars were a presentation by
Professor Jean Kachiga on “Dynamics of Alliance
Formation in African Civil Wars and Conflicts,” and
“Values and Vision in the Leadership of Kofi Annan,”
by Dr. Courtney Smith. The seminars provide a forum
for faculty to discuss their research and obtain
valuable feedback, while further educating graduate
students about professional research and writing.
