About Us

The Seton Hall Journal of Diplomacy is the official semi-annual publication of the John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations. The Journal provides a unique forum for international leaders in government, the private sector, academia, and nongovernmental organizations to analyze and comment on international affairs. Now in its sixth year, the Journal continues to offer timely, thought-provoking and original scholarship.

Past contributing authors that have worked with our editorial board include: Secretary-General Kofi Annan; European Court Justice President, Gil Carlos Rodriguez Iglesias; President Oscar Arias Sánchez; Former Director-General of the World Health Organization, Gro Harlem Brundtland; President Khatami; Deputy Secretary of U.S. Treasury Stuart Eizenstat; and Under Secretary of State Thomas Pickering.

Called the “little journal with big ideas” by the Washington Times, the Journal is widely recognized and distributed internationally. It is indexed by Columbia International Affairs Online, Public Affairs Information Service, International Political Science Abstracts, America: History and Life and Historical Abstracts, and Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory.
