New York, the largest city in the United States, is the home of the United Nations, Wall Street, and many of the world’s leading businesses, diplomatic missions, public policy think tanks, and other nonprofit organizations. It is the international center of art, advocacy, finance, trade, and culture and entertainment.

With this ideal location, come numerous opportunities for our students to actually experience diplomacy while they study it. Our students regularly intern, work, and have contact with diplomatic practitioners and business leaders. The Whitehead School’s unique link to the United Nations and our ties to the diplomatic community enable students to augment their classroom learning with real-world experiences.
