A DAY IN THE LIFE

8:00 - Wake up
8:20 - Check SHU Email for important university news.
8:30 - Go on the web to read the New York Times headlines to catch up on today’s events.
8:45 - Get dressed and ready for a gorgeous fall day.
9:00 - Grab books and laptop and walk with roommate to school from off-campus house
9:15 - Stop by the Pirates Cove. Pick up a copy of the Setonian Newspaper to see if the basketball team beat Rutgers last night. Find some friends at the booth and join them for breakfast.
10:00 - Make it on time for first class of the day, International Political Economy. Prepare for group presentation on Marxism.
11:15 - Class dismissed. Head to the Green to meet up with some friends for 15 minute break between classes.
11:30 - Second class of the day, Human Rights. Be prepared to discuss UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
12:45 - Class dismissed. Hungry!
1:00 - Leave campus. Walk 3 blocks to the Dancing Goat Café in downtown South Orange to grab a delicious Panini for lunch to get me through the day.
1:30 - Walk back to campus.
1:45 - Stop by the print lab at Corrigan Hall to print out my study guide for 2 o’clock meeting.
2:00 - Meet with World Religions study group at the Walsh Library to read over study guide for tonight’s Buddhism Test.
3:00 - Meet at the University Center for a Student Activities Board Co-Chairs meeting. To be discussed: Upcoming Movie on the Green and weekend trip to Broadway show in the City.
3:45 - Go to job. Work-study at the Whitehead School of Diplomacy: give campus tour, finish prospective student packets and help set up Diplomacy Room for tomorrow night’s panel on Darfur.
5:30 - Arrive at World Religions night class early to review for test.
6:45 - 15 minute break. Hang out outside Fahy Hall with classmates discussing how we did on exam.
8:15 - Night class dismissed. Head over to get some well-deserved ice cream at Coldstone’s after acing my test.
9:00 - Arrive back at home. Relax with the roommates and prepare some dinner.
10:00 - Sign online to chat with friends and make plans for this weekend’s trip to the Jersey shore.
11:00 - Get things ready for Council of the Americas internship in the City tomorrow. Train leaves at 7:25 a.m.
